@matigo Can understand the high TB count for you, so it's more challenging I think. I use local backups on high capacity USB drives since I can't put all my eggs into the cloud basket although I do use services like Carbonite or CrashPlan (not cheap but worth it). Not always the full solution but works for me.
I still can't get why some people don't back up their most important things efficiently. It's asking for trouble and heartache.
@matigo Probably the high traffic that it's currently getting is causing the slowness. Took three tries for me to get it to load.
Also, reading about that contains a downside when converting physical items into digital. What if services like Google and AWS were down for days and weeks? As that post says, we may see economic collapses.
