All I have to say is Gigaom is one of those unique tech sites that has good content that's serious. Sad to see it go.

@braincutlery @pamdavis Only states to physical entry like a 4-8 number code. Doesn't apply to fingerprinting so they can do it without one if requested. Going by the recent SCOTUS rulings by the way.

Yep and with they don't need a warrant since the current rules doesn't include fingerprinting only physical entry that they do need one to search a device. @pamdavis

@pamdavis The only downside of Touch ID is if law enforcement request that you unlock the phone. Doesn't have the same protection as a numbered lock.

@pamdavis My sympathies but a lesson learned: Lock and encrypt devices for security.

Question is does non-tech minded people would even want a smartwatch? Right now I say no.

At least Apple brought a women on the stage but wish it was a dev and not a model.
