@hazardwarning I mostly use IMAP to power my emails so I can use those in third party email apps such as Aqua Mail on Android. I feel FastMail is the best in terms of that spectrum.
There's also Vivaldi Mail if you want a free and no ad option and it owrks with IMAP.
