I think they will do this eventually. Since there's a trove of data and Apple is subscription happy these days, really can't rule that they'll be creating Weather+ to go with their other subscription offerings. Apple wants to be a service company in the coming years.

It can be a challenge at first, but once you get the feel it should be easy and more comfortable. I'm a remote worker most of the time even before this happened so plenty of experience.
