So the Internet in the United States is going to be put on life support today by the FCC. After this, there will be lawsuits coming in the new year and it's a MUST WIN.
@joanna That's what a ton of people are fearing. The corporate control of the internet is nearly here and even if the inevitable court battles take a while, ISPs will be free to block and throttle content plus it would structure it like cable TV packages in the meantime.
This will also affect the upcoming midterm elections in a very bad way. More on that here. [theglobeandmail.com]

Basically, the ISPs own part of the US government.
Like I said, the only way now is take it to the courts.
